You really got to ask all those who question people trying to get a bargain, all be it a free purchase, what their motivation was in opening this thread? I would love to know why they first view the thread and then complain

Im not against ppl getting a bargain, or opening threads of this sort so dont know what your on about matey. But use common sense, its a small company that accepts paypal payments (not even their own checkout software) so they are still going to have to foot the bill for ppl buying things that they dont even have any use for.

Yeh they must be real small, can't even find the time to ensure the correct pricing on items.

Whatever fella, just pointing out that the company still has to pay the fees. If your so bored you have to argue about it then fair enough.

Can't believe the stick that the original poster is being given, it looks like Evilistix is a new member as well (like me). This is not the way to treat new posters??

The fact that it was POA wasn't exactly obvious and their system should not have accepted the order without the price being put in. At the very least I think a loophole in their internet site has been highlighted by this poster.

I think Evilistix, who is probably already embarassed at the error, deserves some of our support!

This is a fun game. Hadn't realised there were so many people willing to spend £2.50.

BTW, I wish all our customers were as quick and as good at paying by Paypal!

Anyway, we're not Dell or Staples, so firstly thanks for brightening up an otherwise dull Friday afternoon.

We do have a better disclaimer on the page on the main site - unfortunately our system won't let us list a product without a price - but I take the point that the disclaimer on the page wasn't as clear as it could be. We are trying to say that if you need one we'll try and find one for you. Obviously we need to redesign the pages - so we will, it may take a while as we are a small company and don't have any in house programmers.

We'll refund all the £2.50 payments over the weekend. I think we get the fees back from Paypal, so don't worry about that. (I realise some of you didn't care anyway - but I promise not to take it personally).

Thanks again for the entertainment and free publicity - always a good thing! if anyone does genuinely need any laptop parts then let me know and remind me of this, I'll either give you free carriage or charge you double!
