BT privacy for 10p a month !

Dont use the landline as its for BB so this maybe useful for others like me or those that are away from home alot


If you have 1571 text alerts, you dont pay !! LOL, so set up, call & leave yourself a message on 1571, then switch text alerts off ( till next month ):T :T


texts charged to the landline number at BT standard rates. If you are on Option 2 or 3, this can be taken from your inclusive BT Text bundle

The texts will be charged at BT standard text rates or will be inclusive,they are not treated as inclusive or chargeable calls.

they are on my bill in Oct I had not one 1571 & got charged for privacy @ home for the first time

my BT bills are paperfree & DD and my bill is £10.50 & upto £11 depending on 1571 texts......I only just discovered through reading the forum at 6am no-one else has sussed this one out I've been using it since privacy @ home charges came in !!!
