buffet ideas for 100+ on a budget?

they DID sharnad! but for some reason it got merged with an earlier thread about buffets! so people got confused!

the OP specifically asked about 'canapes'! so why it was merged with an earlier thread for buffet for 100 is beyond me?

Very confusing I have the op as a person asking about a buffer for there MIL

Still things on cocktail sticks are always a good way to go

i have the op as asking about a buffet that was 2 years ago. sometimes merging threads doesn't work. maybe threads not relevant/not commented on by OP for more than 6 months say should be deleted?

I think canapes and buffet ideas can be merged- canapes just made on a smaller scale. Of course some ideas might not transfer across the two, but then also tastes and fashions (and costs of things vary too)- I think whoever merged was just trying to get a broad range of responses- ignore anything that doesn't suit OP, but overall I have found this thread very interesting!
Personally I'd rather browse through one tthread with a few irrelevant answers than lots of threads on similar things with only a few posts! Anyway just my thoughts!
