How do I get websites to remember my username and passwords?

When I enter it on some websites I get a pop-up window saying 'would you like to remember this blah blah', but on other websites it doesn't.

Is there anyway to make it work on those sites? I'm using IE by the way.

go to tools - internet options - content -autocomplete settings and then tick and save all the boxes.
