JVC digital/analogue video cam - how to transfer to pc

I have a JVC video camera (digital & analogue by the looks of it) & of course, the driver & software cds are lost.
It's the GR-DVL 365 EK, if anyone can help.
But I've found a driver for the thing and it's picking up the memory card inside the video camera through a usb connection.
Now the question I have is this.
Can I, through the USB (2.0) port, lift the analogue video off the camera (it's on a tape)
I have a Nero (with Vision Express) and I'll have a crack with that. There may be some miniscule hope it may have a driver which recognises the camera.
Anybody know of any software which does this or do I have to do the analogue tv pci card thing?
I think the key to this is the DV terminal/connector beside the usb connector on the video camera.
If anyone can explain..
I've attempted emailing JVC, but they were very abrupt and say they don't do drivers and to contact a 3rd party outfit. So if you ever think of buying a JVC video camera, DON'T...
If you do, make sure you make copies of all discs and put them in a fireproof safe in a different continent.

Do you have a firewire port/card on the PC - these are usually used to transfer the digital video, but I don't know your model, some can use USB..
Presumably it records in Digital, therefore you will get a better picture quality if you record to PC/DVD using digital, rather than using analogue outputs
A cheap "under the telly" DVD writer with a firewire input may be a better option, if you would like to retain the quality, and don't need the files on the PC (but you can always copy them to the PC using a DVD if you need to)
Re software: Did it have the jlip software here:? Are you sure it came with an DV software, and not just the still image transfer software?
