CreditExpert from Experian

Well, I am the first to vent when a company annoys me (Argos, Cahoot, ... the list goes on!), so it seems only fair to give praise when it is due.
I recently decided that it might be a good idea to get myself a copy of my credit report, just to make sure that my credit history is as good as I hope it is! I have heard that Experian were one of the companies that do it, and that the web site CreditExpert (from Experian) were doing a free 30 day trial. In this trial, you can view your online credit report as often as you like, and then at the end of the 30 days, cancel it with out paying anything - sounds ideal.
Anyway, I registered and filled in all my details for the past 6 years, and clicked the 'View My Credit Report' button. I was slightly unnerved when it responded saying that my credit report was too big to display on the web  ! It told me to ring the customer service number which I did. Now this must be one of the few companies left on the planet, where they have an 0800 number for customer service. Surely they were going to try and sell me something once I got through to someone. But no. Not even a suspicion of an overseas call centre! I spoke to the guy on the other end of the line, and he said that the report was 32 pages long, because I had lived at many addresses in the last 6 years. He went on to say that CreditExpert would be of little use to me, if I was unable to view the report on the web. He therefore cancelled the account and sent me a free paper copy of my credit report.
I have to say that whenever I speak to a company on the phone nowdays, I always expect poor customer service. It is nice to see that there are a few companies out there good attitudes towards their customers. It doesn't take much to keep us happy!
MM :j .

Organisation and planning are for those who can't handle stress and caffine

I too signed up for Credit Expert and wondered if anyone could help me! I might be being daft but how do you view your credit report for free?
Cheers
