i did check the fluids only the other week and im sure i checked the coolant, well it does look like the coolant level is low or even empty, can i get coolant from halfords say, do i need a certain type of coolant or is coolant the same for all cars,
would that be a reason why the heating isn't working0 -
it certainly would. your car manual should tell you what dilution of coolant should be used - i usually just top up with cooled boiled water unless i'm heading somewhere particularly wintery.
your engine uses water to heat and cool down. if there's no water, it won't heat!0 -

well its not fixed but im going to get coolant tomorrow and ill fill it up and see if the heating is ok or not0 -
just fill it up with cooled boiled water to test it. you shouldn't need to add coolant to test if it's working.
driving to the dealership with it in that state could cause further damage :eek:0 -
