I could give you an idea of what you can do but it would probably be wrong or not as detailed as you want / need. Can I suggest you try the forums over on https://www.digitalspy.co.uk.
Good luck. Sky+ is great, when it works right (read the forums on dspy for details of the problems!!!)0 -
If I'm not mistaken Sky plus needs a duel LNB (the bit on the satellite dish that points into the actual dish) If you can gain access to that you could see if there is another outlet on the LNB where a cable can go. if there is, all you need to do is cable from the dish to the room you wish to place it.
Its not that hard to do actually, I recently purchased a Quad LNB (four cable outs) and have now placed cheap sky boxes in different rooms for TV (reception on arial not to good where I am) two boxes don't have cards but stillget BBC and a few other channels, one has a freeview card which picks up more channels and then I have a normal subscription...all give good clear pictures

I have the same and have just plugged in my freeview box in the kitchen and it set itself up no problem. No special cables or anything.... Have since done the same in the bedroom. So now have sky and sky+ in the main room and freeview everywhere else...
Is there a way to link freeview into sky? I am quite happy as it is, but if there was it would be good!

If you mean freeview through Sky, you need to purchase a card from Sky, I think there was a thread recently about the cards, I think they cost £20.00Welcome, rogerramjet.

when the engineer fitted your sky+ he would have swapped the lnb for a quad one, so all you need is some co ax, ct300? then connect it to the lnb on the dish run it to whereever and plug into your box giving you freeview.
the sky + box has 2 outlets also so you can wire that up to another 2 tellys(watching the same)0
