Have been using the Amex for approx 3 weeks just had my balance e mailed me
attempted to pay using my debit card on line and refuses stating that needs to be
30 days before payment... whats this all about ?

Is it referring to the expiry date of your card?
Did you type it in correctly?
I've had no problem paying by swtch lots of times.0 -
Do you mean you've received your statement? If you have not received your statement, I believe Amex stop you paying early, so you will have to wait for your statement to be issued.
I had this problem with my Amex Card - but it disappeared after the first statement was issued.0 -
As treb says for the first payment you make, you must receive a statement first. Thereafter you can make payments as & when you like.0
