Can I have a hug too? Shop should be very busy today and it isn't! Bills to pay etc.

:grouphug: do you have a lot of competition in your area? Like Waterstones/Ottakas/WHsmiths?? Trouble is their books are so rediculously cheap its not suprising that little independants are going out of business. Hows business been in general apart from today??

I know and I keep meaning to start. Bought some decent ones before the august gig but never got round to adjusting to them... definately going to start wearing them every practice now though so I can adjust before the next gig.

    Good girl :p

ah ha another one of my little secrets :rotfl: I don't do much to be honest but its an extra bit of income every now and then. It was something I wanted to do full time at one point but started to find that I wasn't enjoying it and prefered to keep it more of a hobby. (that and the fact I really needed to do some more training and that cost money!)

You must have a big fancy camera though?

And people must rate what you do if you get weddings...!

Nice income for a hobby, but i can imagine if you did it too often it would lose it's appeal.....

well it was fancy about 5 years ago, now its pretty run of the mill but it still does a fab job. I do get really nervous about doing weddings, one because you have to be really in control and get people in place quickly and secondly because its someones special day and dread loosing all the photos

I'm lucky in that I only have a Woolworths anmd I can usually but them but it's all a bit silly this year. I do a lot of pens, organisers and art materials which help but I do worry about my mortgage at times. I may have to start a diary now I'm getting the hang of this.

Hi All, lots of :bdaycake: for everyone who is celebrating.

    :grouphug: for everyone else.

Just popping in to say hi, before I go back to work. I think it's going to be busy, as I've had a text from a colleague to warn me :(
