Stereo to 5.1 MP3's

I have a bunch of MP3's all in stereo.

I have 5.1 Speaker System!

I would like a plugin for winamp that will spread the sound over all 5 satellites, rather than the front two only!

I understand that the sound will not become '5.1 Surround Sound' but I would like to spread the sound over all the channels, rather than just having it play at the front two!

Please Help me

This is playing through a computer to the hifi?

Can you not set your hifi to a stereo setting rather than 5.1 surround. Kind of like on older amplifiers when you could switch between stereo and mono.

I thought the latest winamp supported 5.1 I am sure it does, I cant check mine right now as its ony another pc.
