Morrisons I tunes vouchers 2x £15 for £20

oh dear, i gave the two vouchers to my mum part for her xmas present, ive still got the receipt for them some where. hopefully they will be ok, but from what ive read here ive got a feeling there not. i going to tell her to activate them both tomorrow to see, but there nothing i can do for a few weeks as she lives 200 miles from me

You guys have no idea how angry I am! :mad: I got them as a gift from the whole team to a colleague who was leaving before christmas. And I just found out that the bloke not only removed me from his friends in Facebook, he also wrote something like "the idiot who bought the cards didn't activate them"!
Why on earth would Morrisons not have their cards activated after so much time, and why on earth isn't there a very visible and well placed sign warning that I need to go "somewhere" to get the vouchers activated??? :mad:

Of course that after 3 weeks I don't even remember if I kept the receipt or not, but even if I did and I did find it, I'm not going to get the cards back! The guy is gone, he is somewhere else! How can a company do this to their customers? And what can I do about it?

You don't have to go anywhere. The cards SHOULD be activated by the customer assistant on the till that you paid at. It seems that some cards are not getting activated despite being swiped. I bought 4 cards, 3 are fine, but 1 was not activated. Have taken it back and it has been swiped again, need to try to redeem it again tonight, to see if it has been sorted, if not will back to Morrisons and the lady I saw, said that she would just issue me with a new card.

i got my mum to for xmas she still hasnt activated them yet! i hope they work i going to ring her now to get her to do it! lucky after readying on here ive still got the receipit

It would seem that some cards MAY be faulty. My re=activated card still wouldn't work, so took it back again and they gave me a new one that worked straight away.

i was at my mum's yesterday and activated her cards for her that i got her for xmas and they worked!
