Just to let you know that when you purchase a gift card it takes 24 hours to activate so if you only purchased today it won't be ready until tomorrow. HTH

I've had a bit of a nightmare with the Itunes offer from morrisons. Bought 2 cards today - The first card on the till receipt goes through Itunes fine the 2nd is not activated. Just took them back to a different Morrison's as it's nearer home - had to work my way up to Manager level before something could be done about it. I was given a good gesture £15 in store spend voucher but, not a refund on the Itunes voucher (which they cannot re-active even though the till receipt says activated) so I decided to buy 2 more vouchers but, just got home and the same happens. It's always the 2nd Itunes card on the till receipt which is the problem and Itunes states not activated. Just called the store and the manager doesn't want anything to do with it. Told me they get the cards from a outside supplier and that I should contact Itunes. I don't think i'm going to be the only one with this problem. Thankfully the Itunes cards were not a Christmas present for someone else.

The second voucher (the discounted one) seems to take 24 hours to activate event though the first one is activated straight away.

I bought four. The 1st pair activated fine in 24 hours. The second voucher of the other pair has not activated even though its been 48 hours since purchase. Took it back to Morrisons and they activated it, and said try again. Have done so without any luck. Will be going back to morrisons tomorrow!

oh great! I got some of these today as xmas gifts.
will be really embarrassing if they don't work and I will be really angry.

BUT ... is it just that it takes a couple of days to 'setup'.
my receipt shows both card numbers on it.
Without trying to use it now there's no way I will know if they are ok or not.....

I've just bought 6 cards for £60, saving £30. Excellent deal and great value.

However, we all seem to be experiencing problems activating the cards. As soon as I got home, I tried to activate mine (I know we should wait 24hrs). Strangely, three of the cards activated fine, the other three not so.

Someone mentioned earlier that the discounted card takes the full 24hr to activate. There could be some truth in this, as when I look at the cards listed on my receipt, the 1st, 3rd and 5th cards all activated - but the 2nd, 4th and 6th haven't. How bizarre??

If I don't have any luck, I will go back to Morrisons and ask them to reactivate them. Failing that, I guess I've got no choice but to contact iTunes.

Offer ends at the close of business today Wednesday 17th December, as far as I'm aware.
