Hi, registered for this earlier today but haven't done anything yet

I'll be aiming for £30 in January.

    thanks
  • My accuracy's been completely shot today. Been maintaining 94% but now down to 88% - how!?

I believe it is due to a large number of new songs in the scout room, and the fact that they are selected for review based on (i think) the number of reviews they've received.

i've also maintained a 94% accuracy for a long time and currently it doesn't matter what i do, my accuracy keeps going down. i'm also at 88% and have dropped from 4 stars to 3.

it's very, very disheartening and if it was any other site i'd just walk away but i've come to find the money so useful, i stick it out.

I think we're all having trouble. I am also sensing that people are being more generous in their ratings - I've been experimenting and when I slightly overmark my songs my accuracy seems to go uip. Which would seem to indicate that there's been a generosity slide.

Anyway, ALR, vouchers stop after you've earnt a fiver's worth of money. And in my experience any revuiew over 15 words is acceptable. I do seem to be getting a lot os 'where did you get that from? You've not used any of our expeced musical terms' and all I can say is their expected musical terms must be cr*p, as that particular review had the words 'crescendo', 'pulse' and 'bridge' in so they can get stuffed!

Also Jason, you might know this - who is the damned Siouxcitysarsaparilla who seems to be constantly number one at 100%? I think this is a cheat by STP.

it's not a cheat - when V2 started, the accuracy was worse than it is now. Even I managed to get to 100% accuracy.

all siouxcity did was get his accuracy to 100% and stop. i would wager he's registered another account now and is using that. siouxcity will stay at number one until STP decide to remove him.

    *edit

check out "the monkey song" by 'buck69'

Oh I see - very cunning. I was at 100% for a long time too as I happened to sign up on the day V2 was launched. Doesn't get you far when you're on one star though.

I'm still stuck on silly vouchers... trying hard to get onto real money!! I'm at £3.70 so hopefully will get up to £5.00 tonight.
Not sure what happens then though - do I just randomly pick a band to invest in? Do I have to do anything else with them after investing the initial vouchers? :S

YOu don't have to invest until you find a band you really like - you just start earning real money. Once you get up to two stars it feels much more worth it as 8ps build up a lot faster than 5ps. Obviously....

    Anyway, well done for persevering.

    Thanks Sarah!! :)

I have another question though - I've made my £5.00 now, and have invested it wisely :D but on my scouting profile it still shows as I have earned £5.00 worth of vouchers. Does this stay the same and sort of show how much you have earned over the whole ime you've been using SLP? Or does it just take a while to update?
