Update: ok, I'm down to 2 stars

I've been scouting OK today, occasionally getting the 0 duration track of doom, but I got round that by leaving the scout room and going back in, or logging out and coming back again later.

I was hoping to get £40 between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, but that isn't looking too hopeful now unless I scout in overdrive over today and the next couple of days.

I thought at one time it would be possible to make £10 an evening that was me scouting 30 songs in an hour at four star amount of 10p i have a fair few hours to spare at night and am a little bit on an insomniac anyway

With the system as it is now thats not achievable for me it took me 2 hours tonight to make five pounds so i guess i could have carried on but my brain was going to mush :-)

well if you're a 4 star scount at 10p a song, it's 400 songs.

50 a day for 8 days - very achievable.

slightly problem being that it's very difficult to maintain a 4 star rating most of the time now

I'm really struggling to write reviews.

I joined one night and did about 10 reviews (as sig says) but then gave up on it for a few weeks. Tonight i've come back to it and now i'm on my 3rd and feeling braindead.

Does it get easier? I imagine it will once i stop earning vouchers and start earning money... Do i need to make a full £5 in vouchers before i start on £££?

yeah it does - it helps if you've got a mild obsession with music as I have, but once you get into a pattern and feel for it, you'll find you'll be knocking them out in no time at all.

have a scoot through the faq over there as well, it really does help

LOL, just has 2 tracks by Unouched - and I really liked them both, rating both at 9, and didnt lose too much accuracy

I had an epiphany moment today, please see my post on the other STP thread here.

I'm going to roll my earned £6.58 from Dec into my Jan 09 earnings because I had some real problems between Christmas and New Year with the 0 duration track that stopped me from reviewing many tracks, if any at all.

Update: as I (and others) have mentioned on the main STP thread, there seems to be a plethora of tracks shorter than a minute coming through now.

The STP team should all be back tomorrow, and this should get sorted permanently for us all. Oh, and I'm back down to 2 stars (I've had about 50 tracks at 3 stars this month so far - I want to get back up there and stay there).
