Afternoon all. Posting first and reading after.

One load of washing hung up indoors. Living room tidied up and room made to put up the tree at the weekend. Vacuumed right through downstairs and did the stairs.

Went over shops and paid the paper bill and got some more cough medicine.

Dinner cooking now.

Hope everyone's OK, off to catch up with posts.

Under my instruction DH has got all the pressies from their hiding places and we've sorted out presents. I've got enough for DSs birthday in January too which is a result. I've also decluttered four things.

I've spent the rest of the morning phoning between doctors and the hospital trying to get my hormone patch changed....waste of bl**dy space! Am I getting paid to do this or isn't that their job? Ok, I will go and breathe.......xx

Living room windows now done inside and out. Just had a bowl of soup for lunch. Am now going to brave the shops....

Have done all my ironing, had lunch, hoovered through and returned stray items back to their homes.

Thanks lil_me, she's fine, just one of those weeks. She is currently doing her own job plus half of another persons who has left, she looks after 2000 buildings for a large company so she is always busy! Fortunately it wasnt her who discovered the suicide attempt, she just has to deal with the fallout from it - she doesnt want the regular cleaners having to clean it up so is having to contract a specialist team.

My WM is doing my head in! Cant wait til after xmas to get a new one:D

I cleaned the BR, emptied the upstairs bins and sorted out our room. I have made a start on the junk room, need to amke space for the rest of DHs tools that are in the house to go in there so poor DSS2 can have a bedroom floor instead of a tool store.

Trying to get as much long term upstairs tidying done as after today I have the boys and can't do upstairs - or they make more mess downstairs than I achieved upstairs IYSWIM.

Off to do another half hour now I think.

Summermoon, get up and get on! Don't just think another few minutes, you know it is fatal.

PinkF i've got an OH a bit like that:rolleyes:. For some reason every time i'm ill he gets really angry with me. It does sound like it could be giving up the cigs that have done it to your OH. It does make people really crabby especially if he's worried about his job too. If he won't talk about it i'd just give him a wide berth and let him get on with it.

:jI'm so happy i've handed Toddlers over and no longer have that to worry about:j. I thought i might be a bit sad but no as i locked the door for the last time all i felt was relief.:cool: All i need to do is bank the money, fill in a form and photocopy the bank statement then i'm all done.

I'm a bit worried about my course though. I';m supposed to be starting it 12th jan but i'm having all my wisdom teeth out on the 27th so i'd miss most of the second week. I'm waiting for someone to get back to me to see if i can still go ahead and catch up throughout the course. If not it will have to be deferred until Feb.
