I have just got my new Dimension 5150 and I am new to XP. Tonight for some unknown reason the sonic cd/dvd will not open and it is only after doing a restore point, it worked. It's a pity, Dell does not provide the operating system CD or drivers. Not everybody knows what to do and is not technically minded esp some ofthe older generation. I think, I will leave it well alone and hope everthing goes well. I am glad though I have taken the 3 yrs warranty.
