A Quick Question.....

It's a bit of both really. I will go for quality but not at a ridiculous price. There's usually a happy medium. It's all relative really. I will shop around for the best price but I will also go out of my way to get proper Italian biscuits or cured ham for example.0

The point is that there are so many funny mis-spellings of potato, and if you clicked the link you would see a that mis-spelling potato is a matter for national news. I think they'll be discussing this thread on news at 10 tonite!
The thing about posting threads on other people's spelling, grammar or syntax is that you have to be 100% certain that your own posts are correct in every way or you risk looking very foolish. Let's leave that one with you.0 -
I think that reading between the lines, itsmeagain does not claim 2 b the bestest ever speller and syntaxer. The poster simply recalls a funny news clipping where a famous politician wrongly corrected the correct spellin of potatoe infront of the world. Must have been very embarrasing for him! To see a similar mistake AND add an apostrophe is quite funny to anyone who saw the news story at the time. The thing about posting threads on other people's spelling, grammar or syntax is that you have to be 100% certain that your own posts are correct in every way or you risk looking very foolish. Mortgages make money. Definitely don't wanabee mortgage free!0 -
Be careful itsmeagain, you will likely not be making too many friends if you pick up on minor things like that. I know for me it would irritate me alot. I can't speak for anyone else.
But thats your call, not mine.
...And just wanted to add, shouldnt its of itsmeagain have a ' inbetween the t and the s? LOL!!;)0 -
Quality at the lowest possible price.

The OP question is flawed anyway, for two reasons:
a) Quality and low price aren't mutually exclusive.
b) Quality and high price don't necessarily go together.0 -

Often what you are paying for, from for example M&S, is for them to do the work for you. If you are really pushed for time then that's fine. Personally, I'd buy the best basics you can afford and cook from scratch then you have quality food and save some money too. Don't be too scathing of 'value' stuff. It's often worth just trying some things or taking recommendations from friends, it might suprise you!0
