A Quick Question.....

Personally I try to vary the brands/own brands that I buy and then go for the ones that I like best, if I see one that I haven't tried before then I will give that a go - to me higher price doesn't equal higher quality.
For example - If I want a whole chicken I tend to go for M&S as you get so much meat on them and they are delicious, for chorizo I go for Lidl because I like the taste more than that available in Waitrose/M&S/Sainsbury's/Tescos, for Jaffa cakes I get Asda Smartprice because I like them more than real Jaffa Cakes and they cost about 1/3 of the price.
Some you win, some you lose but if you don't give them a go you won't know£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

I don't know about baby new pots, BUT M&S satsumas ARE better than anyone elses.
When ever I eat them the girls at work nearby smell them without seeing them, last week I had some regular old morrisons ones & no one noticed. They didn't burst with an orangy smell.
Quality for me every time, I would rather have less of it, than compromise.
Free range eggs, Waitrose or M&S chicken, taste the difference beef, M&S mince & sausages, very fussy about meat & things like that.0 -

And your point is? So I can't spell potato? Some people's grammer is appalling but I don't feel the need to comment.0 -
I didn't vote as the poll has ridiculously limited options.
I will go for as cheap a brand as the quality of the food allows.0 -
Also the cheapest brands at different supermarkets have differences in quality, I prefer Tesco value tuna to Asda smart price tuna0

It's a new way of mis-spelling potato that i have never seen before. I've seen an apostrophe in various plural versions but not in a singular form. The point is that there are so many funny mis-spellings of potato, and if you clicked the link you would see a that mis-spelling potato is a matter for national news. I think they'll be discussing this thread on news at 10 tonite!Skint_Catt wrote: »And your point is?0 -
Great, wonderful contribution to this thread. Thanks. Do you pick up every spelling mistake on the forum?0

No. I don't look for them, and i make plenty of mistakes myself, and i'm sure you can spell potato. However, not all spelling mistakes make humorous headline news, and become world famous though. Perhaps i have a problem with my humour being too much inline with popular culture!:DSkint_Catt wrote: »Great, wonderful contribution to this thread.
