Being in IT I know HTML. However, as part of my research I downloaded and learnt to use Turbolister - the free-to-use version - before selling anything. Three years on I have never actually listed an item through any other method. I used TL from day one.

With TL I create my "items" off line when I have some spare time. The descriptions I actually write in Word - so I can utlize the spellchecker - then copy and paste the text into the item in TL. There is an HTML view/editor but you don't need it.

Isn't it a bit ironic that your work in the IT industry but you didn't quote properly.

Can anyone explain how this turbo-lister works - is this the thing where you can prepare listings in advance and then put them onto ebay when I want to?

and how do I get hold of a free turbo-lister?

If you look on the ebay home page it should have a link to the free turbo lister download. For me turbolister is invaluable, I keep it full of all my stuff and just upload when I have a moment.
