Mondeo electric window not working
One window (passenger side) on OH car won't go back up. It's an O2 2.00 Zetec. All the other windows working. Is there anyway to get the window up manually till he can get it to garage tomorrow?

Another wrong answer:D
What I want to hear is
"the car manufacturers realised that this maybe a problem for drivers in wet and windy Wales and so they set a back up if your electric windows fail":T
Oh well maybe in the twilight zone!~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

tried hitting the door panel? We used to have this problem but found that bashing it got it going again0

I had the same problem, years ago with a hire car, and oddly enough, beating the c**p out of the door panel from the inside fixed it.0

also put a little bit of washing up liquid on the seal before bashing the door, helps make sure the seal doesn't stick and make it even harder for the motor to win the window up.
:rolleyes:;):cool::o:rolleyes:;):o:o:cool:

OH still in work with his car so he's going to be very grumpy and fed up when he gets home (been in work since 9am) so he might already have given it a bash!
I'm waiting for my mobile to go with "move your car out so mine can go in the drive first" as he will be planning on taking my car to work tomorrow morning and leaving me to get his to the garage.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

You should be flattered that he trusts you to take it to the garage, that’s normally a bit technical for a girl0 -

Well I did it. :rolleyes: It was tricky mind I had to drive about 4-5 miles through about 20 sets of traffic lights and up a big hill - good job I can do hill starts!:p
I think I might even remember what the garage man told me. Nope I forgot, something about some motor/responder gone and the cable all loose etc. New thingy on order, should be in on Thursday, cost about £55. Meanwhile window wedged up. As I had visions of it becoming unwedged when driving I then took the car to OH in work and got my car back. Also I was going into to town shopping and it's easier to get my fiesta around a multistory car park than the mondeo.:D~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)
