Do you have carpet down? If not, you might need to consider it.Stercus accidit0

One tip is to cover the air bricks during the winter months - that's what I do but dont leave them covered all year. I do this with pieces of external plywood cut slightly larger than the airbricks and screw them to the wall having painted them the same colour as the house. It makes a huge difference.0

I've just used a foam sticky tape type thing to cover the gap between my floorboards and my skirting boards. The tape itself was cheapish - I think about £5 for enough to do most of the living room. I think it's made a bit of a difference.0

The simple answer to draughty floor gaps is STOPGAP seal. Visit http://www.stopg-p.co.uk/fitting.html to see how it fits and http://www.stopg-p.co.uk/customercomments.html to see what people who have used it think of the results.
Can anyone tell me how to draught proof floors in a really cold house. I'm about 3/4 foot off the ground & the wind howls thru the house even though I have double glazing and beaded wall insulation!!
