Hope someone can help with this!
I got a new PC a couple of weeks ago - it has SP2 installed, but the pop-up blocker isn't working, even though I've got the settings the same as I had on my old PC. I know that I can use Google toolbar etc., but SP2 blocker worked so well on my old PC, I got used to it.
Can anyone suggest a fix? Ta!

When you say "the SP2 Popup Blocker", are you referring to the one in Internet £xplorer, accessed by clicking on Tools, then on Pop-up Blocker?
There's also one in the Google Toolbar, which you already know about.
Also your software firewall program might have one as well...

I don't have (nor want, lol!) Google toolbar - the want I mean is the one, as you say, in Explorer, 'Tools', 'Pop-up Blocker'. I don't understand why it worked so well on the PC that went a couple of weeks ago, but not on the new one. I know that it came with SP2, which I obviously had on my old PC and have on this new one. I like the functionality of it, where it drops a bar under the Explorer bar when pop-ups have been blocked, enabling you to make choices about, 'Allow one time' etc.
*the want I mean* should read *the ONE I mean* :eek:I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -
Forget Internet Exploder and download www.opera.com , not only does the pop-up blocker work perfectly, the whole thing runs much, much faster.0
