Roller security shutter broken????

Hi there, my son has a very large roller type security shutter on the front of his salon which has broken, the motor seems to be o.k. It gets to a certain point them wont roll any further. Someone has suggested the brushes may be broken. We have rung a company who are coming out tomorrow to have a look. Does anyone know anything about these or know a man that does I have a feeling this is going to be megga bucks!!!!

Assuming that it's not snagging anyhere, the limits may need adjusting.

If its a tube motor fitted there are 2 limits, one for the top and one for the bottom. Some motors have wheels to turn to adjust the limits(red / black or grey wheels), some have buttons to press and hold in until you reach the limit you need. If its an external motor, there will be a limit box located next to the motor and emergency chain.
Its difficult to advise you without knowing what you have.

Thanks Rob, it has a button to press and hold until the limit is reached, the chap next door to him had a quick look and said he thought it may be the bushes that are broken??????? Now as we havent a clue, we dont know what he meant, he was just helping us out but its just his opinion. It does seem to be snagging though. The motor seems to be working fine, and when I was there lunch time the shutter was up enough to get through the door.
