Yes thanks, but when I click on the drop down subscription it looks like you have to sign up for 12 mths with the 1st 3 issues as a £1. Wondered whether if I clicked that I'd be agreeing to sign up for the full 12 mths issues?

That is how all of the magazine subs work. You are well within your consumer rights to cancel the Direct Debit after the first payment has been taken.

I have done this many times without any difficulties. If you have another look on the main Mag Subs thread on Shop But Don't Drop, that might reassure you a bit more.
