Be careful with the red light (voice of experience that was stranded by the roadside a fortnight ago!)Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

To be honest the £1500 will be swallowed by the overdraft!!!!!!!
I would love to pay it off the credit card but it will prob be the overdraft first.
When we sell the car in jan I will hit the credit cardsDEBT Total Dec 12 = £30029DFD APRIL 20140 -
With regards to the shopping you can alternate where you go each week. Mr. Fire Fox loves his brand names, so I often shop without him! Does your wife know what the extent of your debts are? I am sure she will be very understanding of cutting back once she understands that if you continue as you were (not as you are, since you have made some fantastic changes already!) you could eventually have lost your home.
We like a lot of Tesco products but find we spend £20 a week more (for two of us!) than Asda so I just alternate. Frozen meat and veg tends to be cheaper than fresh; seasonal or short-dated stuff is cheapest of all.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
My wife knows the full extent of all ours debts, she just isn't as bothered about getting rid of them all as soon as possible, she is happy to let the loans etc just run their course. Obviously I am not.
However we do shop at ASDA as it is much cheaper than Tesco, and she does keep an eye on the budget.DEBT Total Dec 12 = £30029DFD APRIL 20140 -

My maintance is dropping in order to free up more money to pay towards my debts. At present I am paying £212 a month more than the CSA rate. I have 4 kids plus another on the way and see my 2 kids with ex every two weeks and for most holidays.
I also have to travel a 360mile round trip to pick up my monsters so really they cost me nearly £550 a month at present. So I am dropping the maintance by £100 to even it out.
Also ex has plenty of cash as she gets Tax credits / housing benifit / She works and runs a wieght loss club, plus my money. So she has more money a month than me. She has no childcare costs etc
So I don't think I am being out of order at all.DEBT Total Dec 12 = £30029DFD APRIL 20140 -
