    It has been reported here and on other forums that on their last free text offer normally only people who got the e-mail sent to them offering the free texts got them ,and only on the account/number the e-mail referred to,even though people who did not meet T&C got a text back saying the texts would be credited.

    I don't know who you spoke to, but if you check their tariff page you will see that texts to other mobiles are 12p, but to another Virgin phone,(and this number) it is either 3p or 5p depending if you are on the daily bonus or not, I checked my credit before and after I sent the text,and it removed 3p!
    Even if it was 12p,(and it isn't) it would still be worth it for 500 free texts.

    For all the people who are saying we won't get them, well we will have to wait and see,I think it has to be worth 3p for the possibility.

    I informed I got the offer from HDUK in my OP, and also "This was posted yesterday but mysteriously disappeared, maybe something to do with the link?", and did not link to the "main virgin site", but to the offer page!!

    It looks like the original OP has moved their post to the Grabbit board, for the reason they mention,( apologies for doing the same,) but I tried to find the post when I received an e-mail saying a response had been posted, but on clicking on to it I got a message that it was not a valid url! ( but hey, it's only 3p!)
