110v issues

I was lucky enough to aquire an almost new 'kitchenaid' food mixer in the USA for free (£299 value here). got it home and everything, but it's 110v. No problem I knew that, and got a nice 1000kva transformer. Only snag is I want an American outlet to plug it in to. I don't want to put an English plug on it anywhere in the syetem as I want to iscolate it from anything 240v. Anyone know, (other than America) where I can get a suitable socket different from the UK type?
