If people want to risk it, then it's up to them.
I don't get why everyone cares so much. No one bothered moaning when we all sent off for an eyeko lipbalm without buying More magazine. Going into 3 figure sums was extreme, but still chill out. There is no need to get personal and so on. It's not going to change anything. Thanks MSE!!0 -
It is everyone for themselves these days - nobody gives a monkies about me and my family anymore on the street or online so its free for all.
No one cares?? This site is all about helping each other, youve basically just spit in all of our faces!! I could say more but dont wanna bring myself down to your level!2008 Competition Wins: £200 Cash (Boffer's Youtube Bag O' Crap Video Competition 2)

2010 Competition Wins: Lucozade 8Gb iPhone 3GS........hopefully more soon0 -
Yep but the latest eyeko blog says:
That sucks you missed out on your freebie Eyeko Fat Balm from More mag - the response to the promotion was beyond overwhelming and sadly oversubscribed.
Which means they won't honour anywhere near the amount that subscribed and people abused that offer too by requesting more than 1.
But I agree there is no need to get personal and abusive. Just trying to make people think twice as they may spoil things for others and themselves in the future.0 -
Well I got my £2.50, and put it toward the Watchmen graphic novel. (A great read I urge everyone to enjoy ... BEFORE the movie ruins it in a couple of months).
A guy in my local pub (you know the type ... sells dodgy DVD's, says he knows a lot about computers, etc.) says he's getting himself a free PS3 from this. Bloody gutted, as I've been saving vouchers from ipoints and stuff for just such a purchase, and I'm still £150 short. They took me months to accumulate. To think I could have got it in a night brings mixed feelings ... not sure what to make of it all, yet.
Sorry ... nothing useful to say. Just thinking out loud.0 -
For the record:
I have a job.
I paid for the computer + internet with wages from job.
I have never in my life recieved any form of benefit from any government in my life - apart from pensions credit neither have my folks.
I played the system not out of greed or for profiteering but because I had the time/knowledge and ability to do so.
It was not hard - I did not do it to annoy people (although it clearly has but such is life)
I did it to get a cheap Xmas present for my dad.
If that makes me whatever you want to see me then thats fine - but if anyone saw an oppurtunity to make easy money 1 week before christmas with the current global economy I wonder how many would do the same?
Good day
Dude I dont think people are annoyed abouts what uve done, its more that you think its a kool thing to do but if I was you id be embarressed, you go on abouts the current global economy but to be honest whats that gotta do with you buying your father a digi camera for xmas? is he gonna take pictures of all the homeless and starving orphanes!lol like you said you work you have plenty dollars, but for the record this site is abouts saving money and helping others ,it aint abouts scamming and fo;) k everybody else.
anyways ill jump back off my soap box and leave you to dig a bigger hole.0 -
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the original poster and congratulate all those who have gained vouchers from this , No doubt most of you who have gained vouchers will be spending some of it on others at this time of year , HUKD were happy to give these vouchers away and many many people on here were happy to recieve them ,
Unfortunatly there are people who seem unhappy about all this when they should be thankful for what they've got , perhaps there should be a forum for moaning experts............
HAPPY CHRISTMAS0 -
Well said wap ^
Come on guys, this isn't MSE spirit, I'm sure the OP wouldn't have wanted this thread to turn into an argument. Yes, getting lots of vouchers does seem unfair, but I'm happy with my £2.50!! Managed to download a few songs which I would have normally paid for. If people want to cheat the system, let them. Atleast those of us who have got our one voucher fairly can feel proud for being honest.0 -
still have not managed to get my £2.50p0
-
I've added 7 deals now - that are showing on FB - can't seem to see an Amazon code anywhere - am I doing something wrong!?
