why is it sad? some people are less fortunate than others and need to make extra money to maybe buy their family christmas presents etc. Im not saying Frugalism is one of these people, but then again maybe they are

because frugalism has a computer and the internet... if they can't get a job and needed £175 that badly they wouldn't have that...

fair enough, BUT the fact that the offer keeps appearing surely means they can cope with the amount of people claiming the codes

edit: im well aware that people who can easliy afford to spend money are still making money off this. All im saying is that you dont know the situations people are in and this could really help make some peoples xmas a little bit easier this year. I just dont think people should be judged
  • Wow, some people need to get away from their computer screens and get jobs. You obviously aren't working if you have the time to post on here, boasting, after having spent your Monday creating 50 or 100+ Facebook accounts. Do you have any idea how sad that is?

Sure, we're all 'money saving', but seriously, learn where to draw the line.

Just the general attitude on here is disgusting, thinking it's fine to leech off a company like this.

You people won't get very far in life. That's all I have to say.

For your information, i don't have a job, because i'm a full time carer for my disabled father, which means i'm at home 95% of the year. So try not to pull this get a job crap, without knowing all the facts, and don't try to stereotype people by assuming they're all unemployed for no good reason, or that its only unemployed people who are abusing this system.

Ever heard of christmas presents, birthday presents and the like. How do you know that frugalism's parents, didn't get him a computer for a joint b-day/c-day present, or for that matter he may have won his computer off of a competition here. As for internet, well thats cheap as dirt these days, considering you can get a decent speed for under £10 a month, your argument fails.

Lastly i would like to add, how can any of you accuse us of abusing this system, when there are competitions posted here, for puzzle mags such as take-a-break and many other comps where a purchase of a magazine is usually needed for you to even know where to send your answers or what the answers even are, the only difference is by abusing this system we're guarunteed a prize.

Do you feel that these thousands of other member should be forced to pay the £1.50 or in some cases up to £3 for those magazines or puzzle books, because they are defrauding the companies, by not actually purchasing the books.

They could cancel orders. Like you said no t+c's so they can do that if they like.

The voucher code systme on Amazon is that 1 code is allocated to a given amount of credit. These vouchers are paid for in advance. hence Amazon wouldn't care if you stacked up 100s cause its HUKD/facebook thats already paid for them.
If people abuse it and they keep buying then Amazon are happy they got the money before anyone buys anything, and im sure some get lost on the page to the user so quids in for amazon either way.

    well said kirkeastment.
  • Thanks davester for that post exactly what I wanted to say.
  • Surely creating multiple accounts is either...

    A) Against Facebook's rules of having more than one account per person

    and/or

    B) Fradulent if you have made up a false identity on Facebook

    and/or

    C) Illegal if you have lied about your date of birth on any of the accounts

    :)

I wouldn't say putting a fake DOB on facebook is anything like illegal.

Having seen that so many people have hammered the crap out of this, i wish i had done it now.

I don't think this offer will be seen again.

I played the system not out of greed or for profiteering but because I had the time/knowledge and ability to do so.

I don't usually post on here - more of a lurker. But this cringeworthy post deserved a response

You say, smugly, that you had the "knowledge" to create multiple facebook accounts. You utter mutant, literally anyone knows how to do this. Anyone who had seen the offer knew that you could get £2.50 per account.

Also, you really need to take a long, hard look at your life if you've genuinely spent all evening creating facebook accounts. Much of a social life, have we?

Well, considering it probably took two hours for him to make all those accounts, that's more than i earn in a week!
