But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today I will:
- check online banking
- update spreadsheets
- make a loaf in breadmaker
- add some coins to sealed pot
- swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership - if I get time
- storecupboard lunch
- laundry hokey cokey
- clean flat with stardrops and microfibre cloths
- batch cook some split pea and ham soup for freezer
- join OH up to whs club so I can get £5 off a book I want;)
- go to town with friend and use vouchers for free coffees and get free parking;)
- hand deliver rest of xmas cards
Need to pick up/mke a birthday cake for DS3 as well as he will be showing up later, might be grown up but will still expect a cake etc:D
Have a good day everyone, hi to all the regulars and welcome on board to any new posters:D .
See you later.
