I wasn't sure if I was imagining things friday night, I just thought she was being a little more affectionate then normal- obviously we were all drunk and I was thinking in a random and hungover fashion that if she was a bloke I would probably fancy her, and actually quite like her any way, but not that I would pursue it cos knowing me I would probably bottle it!! especially since now being sober and having interesting ocversations with ex I have other things on my mind now!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

good news is I have made a start on my study (after my studies) sorting out my paperwork. I really didn't want to do it but I am doing a bit at a time and its coming together slowly but surely.

Bad news is I put some crap in the landrover and now I can't get it to lock, when i lock it the alarm goes off and when I leave it unlocked the light won't go off so i will end up with a flat battery!!!!

cars are more hassle than they are worth.

Have you sorted your tv spud!

Yes Sammy, It took a calm female rather than a bloke flapping like a headless chicken. The Sky box was switched off  :rotfl: :rotfl:

Could it be something simple with the car, like something blocking a censor?
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Its weird. we have been mates for years, dated on and off and this summer went to a wedding, I said I wanted more he said he'd think about it. I left it three weeks and then said well guess the answer's no and thought that was that.

well I was gutted but hey ho.

any how he got back in touch, just by text to see how I am doing about a month ago, I was very curt and sort of off? but am weakening!

he is probably doing it all in the hope of an easy lay over the holidays. sighs.

    Yes and no.

we "broke up" when my father died, Ex was amazing whilst he was ill and afterwards but ultimately I handled it badly, I never told him my Dad was sick and I think in the end he felt a bit used and that I was messing him about - I couldn't come out and I couldn't give him a good reason why not and then there is the whole issue me being "posh" (which I am really not!) and him being my bit of rough and that he wasn't good enough. I think he felt - rightly that I could lie and did lie and whilst he helped me and cared for me he couldn't exactly trust me.

it was so hard to trying to manage everything and I just didn't want anyone to know, although of course I had to tell work and I did tell my best friends, but tey knew Dad. Its took over everything in my life, apart from him he was mine and I could enjoy myself and relax with him.

Ex found out right near the end when my best mate went to see him at work to tell him what was happening and came immediately to the hospital.

As I type that now it looks terrible, but honestly at the time I was just terrified if I told him I would fall apart and if he didn't come through for me I wouldn't be able to cope with mum and my sisters. I just wanted to keep going. it was selfish and sort of not very grown up, but I had never been in that situation and we didn't really know what was happening and it was such a day to day existence, there just wasn't time to think.

slowly afterwards we stopped seeing each other, Christmas that year was a mess and we had a big row on Christmas eve. we'd never fought like that before and then in Jan we had another row and just didn't speak to each other for about six months.

It has become a joke tho now. he always comes back. and I have no idea what to do!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    :rotfl: :rotfl: spud thats hilarious....

not sure about the car - i tried then OH tried and now he is driving it around - in his pyjama's (very attractive NOT!) I hope he breaks down :rotfl: .

It appears the landrover thinks its doors are open, even though they aren't... . I don't drive it very often anymore, just use it for taking stuff to the tip, but I may have to disconnect the battery to stop it going dead....
