can you get wireless internet on a pc

hi, currently get my internet through an ethernet cable connected to my wireless sky router . But i want to have a move around and move my pc away from any phone points . Is there something i need to buy for my pc to gain the wireless signal with no wires .

You can get a wireless PCI card for the computer, or if you don't mind clogging up a USB port a cheaper dongle.

which is better Pci or usb ?

Personally, I prefer PCI because it leaves USB slots available for other things but it all depends on whether you have a spare pci slot or not.
All you need to do is open up the case, remove the cover from the back of the slot you plan to use and push the card in, windows will recognise it and install the drivers automatically so there's really nothing too it.0
