how much to brick up a back door ?

i want to brick up a door has anyone had this done ? if so roughly how much was it ?

  • I have no idea on the actual cost side of things, just thought i would mention a word of caution- are you planning on having a different 'back door' to your property as their are lots of complicated laws governing all residences having 2 entrances/exits for fire emergencies?

    just thought i would mention it before you go blocking up your door and then have to knock the hole back in when you go to sell it in a few years and find out it is necessary.

    Labour for this job would be 1 brickie 1 very easy day + materials.
