I've just discovered the Nintendo DS Fire Card and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge about them: are they legal / any good / worth buying?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The cards themselves aren't illegal.
However, downloading games to put on them is illegal.
The issue of creating a backup of the cartridge is a grey area, as you're allowed to make a backup of your copy of the cartridge, but it's illegal to download a game if you have the cartridge - it has to be YOUR copy.
And, on that note, I'm fairly certain devices that allow you to create backups of your games are illegal, as they facilitate copyright theft from copied games.
Hope that helps,
