Highest Credit Limit

My 0% rate on my amazon/halifax card will expire in a couple of months time, so I want to get another 0% for 9 months card lined up so i can make the transfer before I go.

I currently have the following cards:

Amex Blue ~8k limit (1k/month spend but paid off in full)
Citicard Visa 1% cashback ~8k limit (incase amex not accepted & paid in full)
Cahoot (4k limit, but dont really use much)
Amazon - stoozed to max 8.8k until March.
(Canceled Halifax card about 4 months ago which had 13k4 limit)

I have had mortgage with Abbey for 2 years, and current account with them for over a decade (but not used much thesedays).

So, are Abbey likely to give me the highest credit limit, or should I try LTSB, HSBC, etc instead ??

(Also, to get my next card after this is it worth opening an account with the bank first, with minimal deposit, in order to boost my credit limit when applying for their card ?)

In a poll of 301 stoozers on the stoozing website, the top limits were found to be given by Egg, MBNA, & Capital One. Having said that, I also had a good limit from LTSB. In my own experience, opening a current account first/at the same time isn't crucial to obtain a high limit.
