hi there!
just swapped bedrooms in my house. the room i am due to have (bed comes on the 20th!) has glow in the dark stars on which i am currenly removing so i can paINT the purple ceiling Magnolia (mmmmm a few coats me thinks!)
Any who pulling the stars off and most are leaving the sticky tack which i am scraping off with a pizza slice and global kitchen knife (so i cant find the scraper?).......any better way of getting the last bits off..
? WATER
? scourer
Or..... i thought maybe if i applied 3 coats of paint anyway it would cover up the square shape residue ????
Any help would be grateful...off back up the ladder.:D

Hi there
You could use sticky stuff remover that you can buy from Lakeland Limited or you could just use WD40. Spray it on the star, wait for 5 mins or so and then clean it off.Dawnie :j0 -
Turps is often good for removing sticky residue just put some on a cloth or rag and rub. Its also a very good degreaser0

blummin eck !.........wd40 not done the job , paint thinners or elbow grease....leaving dark rings on the purple paint !!!!!!!!!0
