I would like to publicly admit to being a grumpy cow - I'm not going to the work Christmas lunch because I refuse to pay £20 for a crap meal and a crappy disco in the afternoon. Quite a few other people aren't going because there's been all sorts of internal politics going on. But those who are going are making such a big fuss about getting ready and how 'lovely' they all look and how much 'fun' they're going to have. One of my workmates who wasn't going to go because he's been basically picked on at work has now changed his mind because he was more or less bullied into going - fair enough, except that there are other people who said they wouldn't go in support of him! And when he turned up this morning dressed to go out, the reaction of those who've persuaded him to go that it was "the most wonderful surprise ever" almost made me vomit........
I hope they're leaving soon... :mad:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Know exactly where you're coming from. In my experience some of them spend so much of the morning getting ready they might as well not have come into work until its time to go to lunch and saved me choking on their perfume...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
