Internet Explorer Windows

OK, I'm gonna loose myself here so please bear with it! :rotfl:

When I had several IE windows open I right-clicked the taskbar (thing at the bottom of screen ) and clicked something like "tile windows vertically"!

However, now everytime I click on a link and it opens a new window, it never opens to the full screen and sometimes only half the screen! Does that make sense?

What I want to know is how do I get it so that clicking on links opens a window to maximised?

Go back to the task bar. Right click it and select 'cascade windows'. If the windows are opening smaller after this. Wait till you only have one window open. Maximise it to the size you want, then close it by clicking file then exit. They should open normally after this.

Sorry mate, I'm a bit confused. I've tried doing what I think you mean but it's not working!

Also my IE doesn't have "exit" just "close"!

have one IE window open, maximize it, right-click a hyperlink>open in new window.
close the first IE window, drag the corners of the new IE window to the edges of the screen, and close that window
should b alrite after that

Try http://www.jiisoft.com/download.asp downolad IE New Window Maximizer.

Its Brill to get full windows all the time.

like skiddy said. You shoudl try maxthon or firefox. 1 taskbar icon, many tabbed windows.

yeah its a nice bit of kit and also closes pop-ups, even media fast click ones
go to it by the PC clock right click, Pop-Up action close all, use Ctrl to view
a pop up or change setting back to Do Not Maximize.
