See, I was sure that a celeron M would be ok, and to just get the cheaper 1300 as on grabbit again now for £339.
But they all insisted to her that it had to be under 2.5kgs, dvd writer, 60gb, and centrino etc..
Surely the 60gb is redundant with a DVD writer anyway
And a celeron M with the wireless card will do the same job anyway wont it??
Celeron M will work fine BUT in a motorhome setting where space is at a premium and mains electricity may not always be available, then it may make more sense to buy a lightweight laptop with a smaller screen and Centrino processor. This will be more portable, easier to store and have better battery life - it just depends on whether you are prepared to shell out the extra expense.0 -
A large drive is good if you want to store large files...possibly DVD rips which you then want to play on the laptop directly. 20gb would be ample for most peoples useage...as much of what people store are just digi camrea images, word files and probably some MP3 albums...
For wireless netwoks, the laptop you mention would deffo do the jodWelcome, rogerramjet.
