Quidco "Tracking issue detected"

I've used quidco for 3 years now and never had tracking problems.

However, over the last few weeks when I click through to visit a merchant I get the message "Tracking issue detected".

This only occurs with a few merchants- most recently EON, Marks & Spencers & play.com.

I tried others - including Tesco, Debenhams & Argos and I'm taken through to their site with no problem.

I've followed all the advice (as far as I can) given on Quidco to resolve this issue.

I note that this was a big problem around June 2008 for others.

Can anyone advise me if there is anything I can do to my computer system to resolve this.

Have you installed anything new on your computer in the last couple of weeks since it last worked?

'Some of you may have noticed a warning message saying “Quidco Tracking Issue Detected” when clicking through to certain merchants. This is a new tool for our members’ benefit that we’re testing out.

If you get this warning, it means the new tracking checker tool has detected that something on your computer is preventing the tracking cookie(s) from being set properly. It’s in place to give you a chance to double-check the items here, especially the security settings.

We hope this is something that our members will find useful, as it will help prevent missing transactions - and most importantly, it will help prevent the delay of having to submit enquiries for missing transactions!'
