Hi, I want to place an order from a company I have never used before and never heard of ( but does not mean they are real etc), wont put the name as Im not trying to advertise them.
I was pleased to see I could pay with paypal but when I get to the check out and I click paypal, it wanted my paypal address and password to get it, which yes I know I would need to log intp paypal etc, the question is how do I know this is safe and for real and not that company trying to get my paypal details so they can empty my account etc. Yes i know I might be a little over the top here but really want to place the order but dont know if I should or not. Any help would be great thanks..

no site except PayPal itself should ever ask for your PayPal password.
if you click through to PayPal from another site look very carefully at the URL at the top of the page to make sure it really is the PayPal site.0 -

Surely when you shop, you have to give your password? Otherwise you could just put in any old paypal email address in.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

If the request for your paypal details opened in a new window, as it should have, check the url address. I pay quite a few companies by paypal and as long as the new window opens and it's the paypal login address, I 'm more than happy to fill it in.
As a previous poster said, NEVER put your paypal details into any other website though.Exclamation and question marks - ONE exclamation mark or question mark is sufficient to exclaim or ask about something. More than one just makes you look/sound like a prat.
Should OF, would OF. Dear oh dear. You really should have, or should've listened at school when that nice English teacher was explaining how words get abbreviated.0
