Back home now - here's my list of survey sites I use, whether they pay out, how good I think they are etc - everyone's different obviously, depends on what your profile is (mine is early 20s no children) but hope this helps you (all earning amounts about over about 18 months)

Ipoints https://www.ipoints.co.uk – does cashback but not that reliable by the sounds of it – however can normally get at least 1point (worth about 5p) a day by clicking on banners – some days there are as many as 10 banners. You can check which banners are giving points etc on rpoints forum. Also little polls with 1 point each every now and again. And surveys too - need to register with surveys.com once you're a member of ipoints. I redeem for leisure vouchers but there are other gift vouchers, amazon voucher and gifts too – had about £60 of voucher so far.

TestandVote – https://www.testandvote.com get surveys etc through email and also lots of little quick votes on their website and product tests – not the most reliable at awarding points for surveys or sending amazon vouchers – but an email normally sorts it out – OH likes this site – is up to a £10 voucher in about 6 months, I'm up to about £15 in 18 months

Mytns – surveys site – get awarded Nectar points (as in Sainsburys) to do surveys – I like this site – get some points even if you get screened out - about £10 in points since it started last spring (think you register through nectar  )

YouGov – lots of little surveys, random stuff – trouble is only pay out at £50 – but know people who have had payouts and surveys easy to do, I'm up to about £7 so slow for me in nearly a year but as others said it's worth it. https://www.yougov.com

ACOP – not that regular but get £3 cheque for each survey you do so payment straightforward. America Consumer Online Panel (can't think of the website now - have had about 4 lots so far)

IPSOS – surveys good and get points even if you get screened out – points can be exchanged for argos, whsmith, boots and choice vouchers (up to £20 so far). https://www.iapinteractive.com

Pinecone research – great site get £4 of luncheon vouchers for each survey, and sometimes products to try and £4 more for it – can’t always find links to site to join though - up to about £36 pounds in luncheon vouchers.

Other survey (and last one paid to read) sites I do but haven’t had any/much from the recently but might be worth signing up especially if you have time at work to do this sort of thing:
    Ciao
    Media Transfer
    Gozing
    htmail
    Juicybrains
    NFO consumer panel
    Valued Opinions

Hope this helps if you want to know anymore then let me know.

YouGov send them out whenever something political hits the news - loads going in atm with the lib dem party leader elections.

Not 'ere, they ain't! Haven't had a political one for a while, despite saying I was interested in politics. I think it's a conspiracy....once you near the 50 quid mark they stop sending you surveys! :D

  • I'm with Yougov. Don't book a cruise on the strength of it. It isn't fast but every little helps doesn't it.

    AB.

    Exactly.

What I disliked about Yougov is that when I was with them I just got a stream of surveys that gave the "enter into prize draw" rather than a proper reward.

I therefore told them where to go, and that I felt that was very poor. All these people get paid (very well to do their research work, and it's only right and honest that they actually pass some of that on to the people who take time to contribute, rather than some pathetic draw.

Perhaps if we all started a campaign rolling to get everyone telling YouGov this when a prize draw survey turned up, they'd learn something and pay out properly like the others?
  • Nice post and comments from Yorkielass.

    Quite by chance I've just stumbled across this site which seems to list a lot of survey sites. I can't vouch for it's accuracy or for who runs it - or what their "angle" is if there is one and what they get out of it, but I'm going to have a look at it myself now;

Edit: I see now - the site owner gets referrals from some of the links he mentions!

But I'm not sure either how you actually register?

Where on earth do you go to find a link for Pinecone Research? I would love to join that one. It sounds like good rewards.

Like a few of the ones mentioned, I think you have to be "invited" to join - can't just register (unless someone knows better)

I'd suggest emailing them through the Contact Us link and expressing your interest - hopefully they'll then come back to you when they are recruiting panellists again.
  • I signed up by using:
    http://www.mytns.com/join.asp?scid=tnsnfo_050901&cpid=1

Google found it, seemed to work.

(not my ref link, a link from a banner I expect)

    Hope it helps

I'll answer my own post! If you want to join, go to the "Contact Us" section:

    http://www1.pineconeresearch.co.uk/PanelistSupport_UK/contact_form.aspx

On the second part of it there is a "I want to join" box to tick.
