School Polo Shirts?

I'd say M&S for polo shirts too. This time I got the ones that have a stain guard on them and this definitely seems to work, they come in packs of three. I got them away back in the summer long before term started in August so I can't remember the price. I have tried Tesco, Asda and Adams ones in the past and they don't seem to wash very well, don't stay white long either and go out of shape. I also find Adams sizes very small with M&S being more generous in size. So for me M&S work best for me, ok I paid I bit more for them, but they are lasting really well with my DS who comes home with all sorts of muck on them daily.0

Another tip when you are washing white polo shirts, I use my normal Ecover then add some borax to help with the stain removal but if its really bad, you could also use bicarbonate of soda for stain removal - eco-friendly. My son's polo shirts are still nice and white. Bleach turns them yellowy.0

Thank you all - lots of ideas there.
I shall have to have a look around - see which are easiest for me to get as much as anything (don't have any supermarket clothing depts nearby, so it's local shops or mail order on the whole that's open to me) - the M&S ones sound promising - I have looked before but they have more than one type, and I'm never sure which to start with - but with my two dirt magnets, I think the stainguard is the one to go with.

I get all my kids school uniform from BHS, have tried Next before but found them quite short in the body and wide.0

I have to say although white polo shirts look nice at the start of the term I find they do change colour & the coloured ones (if you can get away with them at your school) are much better value. They hide marks so much better. We tend to stick to supermarkets own, sainsburys are my favs. Adams aren't bad but quite a lot pricier. I always buy new once each year for the children (I have 4)

I have 5 at school and sainsburies and next polo shirts have always done well for us, tesco ones shrink and go grey very quickly. We have some Next ones that are 8 years old and still look fine! They are also pretty good for plain coloured p e kit x0

Just bought some in the 20% off at Marks. Also they do the stain resistant ones!

i have had the tesco ones and they are ok but not as good as the school ones. i will get m&s next time, the tesco ones, the collars have gone a bit funny!! but as dd1 is only 4 and only wears the non logo ones under her pinnifore dress then i'm not that fussed.0
