Can't connect to the internet on my main pc help please!

Hope someone can help. I've not been able to connect the the internet for a few days from my main pc. It comes up 'limited or no connectivity' for the wireless connection, invites me to repair the network connection, says it is renewing my IP address then eventually tells me it cannot finish repairing the problem and to contact the person who manages the network (is that me or talktalk or d-link (my wireless router)?)
Any advice as to what to do next gratefully received
