There's no way either the gallo (especially) or lindermans was ever £8 / bottle, more like a fiver. So you're actually getting buy 2 get one free. And they quite often have a quid off them, so maybe no more than £4/bottle on a good day.
The wolf blass is a little different, though, it's not normally in these deals - it's normally 7.99 down to 4.99 or something like that when on offer, so I think 3.33 a bottle is pretty sweet.
Don't get me wrong, by the way, I love all these wines (probably more than it's cool to do so, these days) - they're just not as great a deal as they make out.
Wish there was an asda within 30 miles
Whatever - I suppose if you can get 3 bottles of half decent wine for 3.30 a bottle it aint bad. Although if you have to do a 60 mile round trip may be more economical buying off the local store who does the weekly journey lol0 -

Aren't asda doing 3 boxes of stella for £20 they were last week anyway

Also aldi are doing 15 330ml bottles of stella for £7.99 :beer:0 -
I have just looked at Stella offers on mysupermarket the comparison site.It gives you an accurate price per 100ml.The stella 18 bottle crates that are advertised at £10.20 each or three crates for £20.00 work out at 20p before the offer per 100ml,but after the deal kicks in you are paying 13p per 100ml.
The cans of Stella work out cheaper than the bottles,(this is the cans priced at £3.76 for 4 or two lots of 4 cans for £4.00)....at 21.4p per 100ml before the deal and a superb 11.4p per 100ml after.
Out of interest the 6 bottle packs of stella at £6.84 per pack,or 2 packs for £10.00 work out at 34.5p per 100ml before the deal and 25.3p per 100ml after the deal, making it twice as expensive as the can deal.
Hope this helps."Do not let what you can't do interfere with what you can do."0 -

ASDA were doing a great deal on lagers - Fosters, Carlsberg and Carling - 2 packs of 18 cans for £16. The deal is so good that it is limited to one deal person. I think they might even do 3 packs for £22.
That's a lot of beer.0 -
PS.
I found a great deal on wine. A lot of independent off-licenses are now trying to compete with their larger rivals, so hunting about is worth it. I found an off-licence in West Croydon doing 2 bottles of wine for £4.99. The place was called Vino Vita or Vino Vito - something like that. The wine tasted good to me.0 -
Tesco until Sunday:
