This is sooooooooo addictive. Got the bauble now want to get on the leader board!!!0

Yet again I've been on the leader board and then an email from Thorntons telling me my score was in valid
If they would ansswer my emails explaining why it is that I, and many others, have had their scores deleted then I might understand.
not expecting one though:cool:0 -
The 25% code at the checkout: XBN5 still works perfectly, however I was only able to select the "gold" delivery £3 more expensive than normal, which was annoying, but still an overall saving.0

Oh got same reply twice as they removed his score again:
Dear Sir or Madam
Sorry to hear of your disappointment, that said we have to ensure all
entries are treated the same.
The score you have submitted is not the maximum. Please also see our
Terms and conditions for point 3 and point 10 regarding the judge's
decision. We will not enter in to additional correspondence regarding
your submission, only to say that there are various criteria that
highlight discrepancies. We apologise for the disappointment, however
you are free to play again. We look forward to receiving your entry
which could give you an opportunity to win a year of Chocolate and
other spot prizes.
Yours sincerely,
Thorntons.co.uk
What complete rubbish. So 800 is not maximum apparently  And when asked to explain what discrepancies, they can't
Betting you will get the same reply olly. x0 -
Yep, I got exactly the same email - but only at the 3rd time of asking.
The whole thing smells a bit dodgy to me - I've tried everything I can think of to get more than 800 but it seems its impossible. Would be so much better if they told you what the scores on the board were - or even what you need to score to get on the board.
Hopefully after Christmas they may disclose the info.0 -
yay I just won a choccy bauble !!!!! yummy yummy !!!Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0

I was on the leader board for days with posted scores of 800
You got 3 chocs to roll with a maximum on main game of 3*100
then the bonus roll with a maximum of 500 making 800.
The highest I was on the board was 4th. It says later scores of the same
will not count as higher than yours. In the last half hour of competiton
I entered more scores of 800 but then strangely disappeared off the
board altogether. Will we get an explanation from Thorntons, I doubt it
what a waste of time and a big public relations error for Thorntons.:mad:0 -
Same here - was on the leader board over a week ago and then my entry got cancelled last Monday and the whole leader board changed. I entered again and then was 4th on the board - again with 800. Same email response a day later.
I am determined to get an explanation even if it just puts my curiosity to bed as to how you can get more than 800 points. Unsure how they would react if everyone bombarded them with emails but if enough fuss was made then surely they must do something - they're not really in a position where they can afford to lose customers!
I just feel the whole this has been a con, and as you say Woody, definitly a PR disaster. :mad:0
