Unless it's changed since I worked there, it's not so much a sale, but they have a deal on to get rid of the xmas stock. When I was there, it was spend £30 and get a free xmas product-or anything with an 'old' sticker on(most stock is kept on the shelves for max 3 months). If there's any xmas gift boxes left, it's a great deal, but we never did(not even to claim for the staff to put by-we weren't allowed that). It may have changed since then, but it always started on boxing day, or the 27th if the shop wasn't opening on boxing day. Get friendly with the staff in your local branch-we always liked the nice regulars. :D

Last year the one in Manchester gave away the Xmas gift boxes and 'old' stock when you bought something - I got a couple of bath bombs for about £5 and got a free gift box worth about £15! But there were very few boxes left and I got one of the last boxes worth more than £6.

I got down to my local Lush early when it opened on the 27th and sat outside the window doing my knitting (it was in a mall!) and keeping one very sharp eye on the Lush Legends gift box (£99!!!) on the other side of the window. Yes I got it with the £minimum spend, and one of the other £40 Christmas hatboxes, whohoah!. Well worth an hour in a queue....still using bits out of it.
Won't go this year though...let someone else get the bargains. There's often an online offer a bit after Christmas too where you get a huge Lucky Dip bag for not a lot. Will go for that this year.

    I understand your point.

Personally I like to kepp things simple and leave politics out of my shopping. Otherwise I would question every action I take in my life! lol..:rotfl: :rotfl:

But good for you for sticking to your beliefs.

Can't wait for the offers in the new year! It is always nice to get something for free or something a little extra! :o

Good point Izzoh, I think its good that the owner of Lush is spending his own money on something that he beieves in. I'm not going to debate the rights or wrongs the protest but its his own cash and we shouldn't jusdge him on what he spends it on.

Anyway back to the point, the Lush sale is fab but if you wait till the end of January or early February they do a lucky dip full of products. Last year I got a massive bag fll of things for only £15. Included was 2 pots of dream cream, karma perfume, 2 perfume solids, 3 shower gels, some ultrabland, 7 (yes 7!) bath bombs, various soaps and massage bars. These were mainly the limited edition Christmas stuff but it still smells fab and for that price I'm not argueing. I'm still using the contents of that bag now. Next year I'm going to buy a few and use the contents to make home made hampers for gifts.
