Prague - Where can I stay ?

Hi everyone

We are going to Prague for three days at the end of January, and would welcome any ideas of a really nice hotel near central prague which includes a decent breakfast.
I have looked on a few sites, but would prefer personal recommendations.

Many Thanks

the hotel Tyl is were we stayed its about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Prague but what I loved about it was it was just far enough away from the main touisity bars and restraunts we ate and drank alot of the time were the locals did it was fantastic.
Breakfast was very good and rooms were huge comfy and very clean.

  • We stayed in the Art Hotel in Prague over Christmas. https://www.arthotel.cz. It is a fifteen minute walk thorugh a park to the centre of Prague. Small boutique hotel 24 bedrooms if I remember correctly. Unusual hotel - each floor has art by a different Czech artist - and highly recommended. We paid 53 Euros a night through traveljungle/travelsupermarket breakfast included.

  • We stayed at the Hotel Leonardo (http://www.hotelleonardo.cz) around this time last year. It is about 5mins walk from charles bridge, the hot & cold buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We booked through the expedia.co.uk sale, it was buy two nights get third free or something like that, it worked out very reasonable. Might be worth having a look.

    *Edit

The room was warm, well decorated and very clean too.

We stayed at the Charles Hotel http://www.hotelsprague.cz/charles/ in January last year! It was lovely and a 2 minute walk to Charles Bridge!!

The year before we stayed at Andel's but this isn't really in the centre...

Wish I was going to Prague this year, I love it! :j

I have stayed at the Cloister Inn, which has a great buffet breakfast, very central close to the Charles bridge.

We stayed at this hotel last year,
Position couldn't have been better - just off the Old Town square, by the Church with the clock tower . Hotel recently refurbished, but with beautiful wooden fittings.
Can't reember cost (there were a group of us & we split the accomodation bil) but think around £60 - £70 per room per night.
We arranged for the hotel to pick us up at the airport, & no additional transport costs as we could walk everywhere.
    Can't recommend it highly enough
