Could I sell advertising space on my van?

I'm going to get a cheap car and was also wondering about getting a second hand van.

Got me thinking, could I sell the space on the side of the van as advertising for someone?

Would this be possible via Ebay auction?

Sorry I'm not going to be much help here but sometime in the past year or so I read about people putting advertising on their vehicles for money. Unfortunately I can't remember where I read it, or what the websites are! I've just spent a while trawling through old bookmarks but I can't find the links - however I am sure I saved them and I'll have another look later on for you. I think you register with the site and if your vehicle is suitable, they will contact you and give you a chunk of cash to advertise for them. If anyone knows of these companies they may post links...? In the meantime I'll keep looking - but no promises...!

i know the site you're thinking of, shame i can't give you the link (don't drive so i didn't save it)

however, all the taxis in edinburgh have the car wrap advertising and i know many other cities are like that... perhaps you could contact the office of your local taxi firm that has this kind of advertising and they may be able to point you in the direction of the people that pay them for it

I sold different 'lots' of space on the car. The bigger and more prominent the area the more it cost!
I raised enough to pay for all my race entrance fees and buy a few spares (around £800) ........ every little helps!

If you can get enough to just cover your road tax it's something!
